On 19 October 2018 CLL Ireland are hosting an Evening of Support in Mullingar.
This event is a direct outcome from our last Information Day where attendees discussed the issues of importance to them and provided further insight through a survey completed. Attendees indicated that more Emotional Support for CLL patients and those impacted by a CLL diagnosis is needed.
In particular we heard that CLL patients really want help managing feelings of anxiety, depression, sadness, regret or anger; making plans for the future; and accessing emotional support.
The Evening of Support for CLL patients and our CLL community will include a talk by Louise O’Driscoll Clinical Psychologist, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin.
Louise specialises in supporting patients with the psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis and while living with cancer.
And we’re coming to the Midlands!
Many attendees to our last Information Day asked could CLL Ireland host Regional Events and facilitate Support Groups around the country.
So we’re delighted that the next CLL Ireland event will be held in the Mullingar Park Hotel (Click here to visit their website); and the agenda will include how we hope to get Support Groups up and running for our members!
We’re delighted to again be able to offer this event at no cost to attendees – but Registration is necessary.
But as attendee numbers are restricted, Registrations will close when we reach capacity.
